Arriving from TENOHA MILANO, UKIYOE: IMMERSIVE ART, an immersive and sensorial exhibition that transports visitors to the floating worlds of Japan through a three-dimensional visual space. After the great success in Japan, this exceptional exhibition arrives in Milan, presenting 3DCG animations and projection mapping of the highest quality. High-level graphic digital works of art, accessible to both children and adults, based on over 300 works by renowned ukiyo-e artists such as Katsushika Hokusai, Utagawa Kuniyoshi, Utagawa Hiroshige, Kitagawa Utamaro, the exhibition offers an immersive experience exploring dynamic masterpieces of ukiyo-e. The immersive journey passes through 9 sensory rooms enriched by installations that recall icons of Japan, such as Mount Fuji, the torii (鳥居), the traditional Shinto red portal, and explore various themes of ukiyo-e.
